San Francisco Bay Area
We
have about 400 members located in the San Francisco Bay Area and
Northern California. We provide local opportunities for professional
development and networking, including regular Board meetings, programs,
workshops, social events, and job listings. Below is a glimpse of the
Chapter (visit the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter website for more details), including:
Student Scholarship Program
As part of our efforts to reach out to future
environmental professionals, the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter has
initiated a scholarship program that will offer scholarship(s) to
eligible students in the area served by our chapter (see map). Check out our Students section for more information. We are excited to increase AEP's exposure to our chapter's students!
Social Events and Programs
The San Francisco
Bay Area Chapter offers many programs and events. Visit the Programs
and Events section of the Chapter's website for detailed information
and visit the Calendar section for a brief overview.
Newsletters
The San Francisco Bay Chapter distributes a monthly newsletter, The Bay Echo, via email to Chapter members. In addition, the San Francisco Bay Chapter publishes a blog, which can be found on our website at sfbayaep.org/blog. If you are a Chapter member and not receiving monthly newsletters or if you would like to submit an article or announcement for publication, contact André Morand, the Newsletter Editor.
Jobs
For a list of job opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area or information on how to advertise a job, visit the Jobs section of the Chapter's website.
