The University of California, Davis Health (UCDH), Sacramento, California requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) on or before 4:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 for on-call professional services to support the Sacramento Campus in the area of environmental planning and documentation.

Services include performing environmental analyses for campus development projects, preparing CEQA and NEPA environmental documents, providing regulatory, editorial and strategic environmental planning support, and participating in public outreach and involvement.

The University intends to select a single firm. The selected firm will be expected to sign a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) that will include negotiated lump-sum fee for the provision of services and hourly rates for additional services. The anticipated period of time shall be for no more than three years to perform the following types of services on an as-needed basis:

  • Conduct site surveys to document and map existing conditions;
  • Provide CEQA and NEPA strategy advice and regulatory permitting advice;
  • Prepare CEQA and NEPA documentation including administrative draft documents, public review documents, final approval documentation, and administrative records for legal defense needs;
  • Assist with preparing greenhouse gas reduction strategy;
  • Develop and implement feasible and effective mitigation measures for proposed projects;
  • Coordinate with resource agencies, and obtaining necessary permits.

ELECTRONIC COPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. All statements of qualifications must be received no later than 4:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2017, at the above address. Firms may deliver their materials to the above address or mail them sufficiently in advance of the due date to ensure delivery and receipt by the required time and date. Statements of qualifications will be reviewed by University staff and a short list of firms will be invited to interviews. Consultant/Design Professional shall pay all persons providing services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than UC Fair Wage (defined as $13 per hour as of 10/01/2015, $14 per hour as of 10/01/2016, and $15 per hour as of 10/01/2017) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements.

The City of Marina ("City") is seeking qualified consultants to submit proposals demonstrating the professional ability to prepare a comprehensive update to the City’s Local Coastal Program (LCP) to address sustainable development, increased opportunities for coastal access and public recreation, and vulnerability to Climate Change and Sea Level Rise (SLR).

The consultant would be expected to provide significant assistance in the preparation for and hosting of workshops; the preparation of the vulnerability assessment and development of adaptation strategies reports; and updating the LCP. The City is dedicated to providing in-kind services in the form of staff time. Work must be completed on or before November 1, 2019.
